studentLife is going fishing! Come hang out with us for great morning of fishing for big cat fish and freshwater drum out in Saginaw Bay! We’ll leave the church at about 6 AM and should be out fishing by about 7:45 or 8. Plan on returning to the church by around 1:30 depending on how long we fish, and how long we stop for lunch.
There is no cost for this trip, but students do need a pair of waders, as well as a fishing rod and reel. A pair of waders can be purchased for about $50, click here to see an example, or a pair of lighter, disposable waders could be picked up for about $15, click here for an example. There may be a few people that have extra waders, if you need to borrow some contact me at email@example.com and I’ll look into it for you. A number of leaders have indicated that they have extra fishing rigs for students who don’t have any, so if you don’t have your own, don’t worry about it.
Schedule: Meet at 6 AM at the church Saturday Morning, we’ll return Saturday early afternoon.
