Specific Application of Spiritual Gifts
Identifying with and comforting those who are in distress. The ability to show empathy which is to feel with others, not just for them.
Areas of Service that may interest those with the gift of Mercy include: Funeral Dinners, Deacon, Kids Hope, Care Store
Leading, overseeing, training, and caring for the needs of a group of Christians.
Areas of Service that may interest those with the gift of Pastor include: Community Group Leader, Elder, Deacon, Trustee, Momentum, momLife
The giving of encouragement and affirmation.

Rendering practical help in both physical and spiritual matters.

Universal Application of Spiritual Gifts
A supernatural understanding of God’s Word and the will to apply it to life situations.
Clearly recognizing and distinguishing the influence of God, Satan, and the world.
Leading people, even those who are beyond your natural sphere of influence, to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
Motivating others to action by urging them to pursue a course of conduct.
Confidence, certainty, trust, and assurance in God. The ability to live boldly for God and manifest faith in mighty ways.
Giving your material resources far beyond the tithe, to further the work of God.
Understanding the things in this world and in our lives that are grounded in the Gospel and rooted in the Scriptures.
